Introduction
Acne Vulgaris is a common problem of the teenager and it produces cosmetic disfigurement like post Acne pigmentation and scarring, which persists lifelong and produced profound social disability to the patient.
Hence, aim of acne treatment is to prevent this cosmetic disability produced by the disease.

• To improve the cosmetic appearance of the skin.
• To prevent the post acne pigmentation and scar.

 

Aim & Objective

The aim of this study is to asses the result of various minor surgical procedure in acne management like

• Comedone Extraction
• Evacuation Surgery
• Drainage of Pustules and Cyst
• Intralesional Corticosteoroids Injection
  
  

Material & Method

• Total no. of patients – 500
  Female – 280
  Male – 220
  
• Age Group – 16 to 30 years

Result

• Excellent Cosmetic results were observed in more than 85% of the patients
  
• Superficial scar and pigmentation were observed in 15% of the patients.
  
• Deeper scar were observed in only 5 patients of severe grade acne.
